The weather gets hot as blazes here in the
summer, but that also means that flowers bloom way into late
November.

| This morning when David and I were running, we passed a young mother carrying a
baby about 18 months and holding her daughter's hand as they walked to school. I
wanted to yell after them, "Enjoy! And remember this, because tomorrow, that little
girl will be 19 and miles away at college. And that dear baby you're holding will be
getting her driver's license in half a year!"
